Infopia to Host the eCommerce Summit with PeSA and ECMTA
By Divya Narain TMCnet Contributing Editor
Infopia, a provider of online, multi-channel selling technology, has joined forces with the Professional eBay (News - Alert) Sellers Alliance (PeSA) and the eCommerce Merchants Trade Association (ECMTA) to host The eCommerce Summit.
The summit is scheduled to be held from April 22 through 24, 2008 at the New Orleans Convention Center. For the first time, the three organizations are merging their yearly summits into a joint event. Eminent online retailers and Industry bigwigs are expected to grace the occasion, wherein they will discuss innovative ideas and best practices in eCommerce that will raise online income
While PeSA is an association of eBay's biggest sellers, ECMTA is a fraternity of multi-channel sellers. Now including the PeSA and ECMTA members, Infopia's 2008 Summit will be attended by an estimated 600 online retailers, in addition to industry experts and eCommerce solution providers.
"A lot of the eCommerce tactics we use came from previous Infopia Summits. Attending and using the information in these summits is a big reason why we're successful today. We've really leveraged what we've learned there and benefited as a company from the people we've met," remarked past attendee Chris Smith from Dallas Golf
The earlier PeSA summits have been regarded as the place "where the rubber meets the road in eCommerce." Totally agreeing with the notion Jonathan Garriss, Executive Director of PeSA said, "Our members are very successful at selling online and have the experience to share what works and what doesn't. This combined summit is a time not only to learn new ideas from industry experts, but also to discover how your peers are finding success in their respective markets."
Infopia helps online retailers expand their businesses. Infopia joins all facets of retailer’s eCommerce operation and gives them vital information that helps them take advantage of very important online selling channels.
