Mirapoint, Nokia Team on Mobility Solution

Mobile phone supplier Nokia (News - Alert) has teamed with messaging services company Mirapoint on comprehensive mobility solution. The partnership will combine the Nokia’s Intellisync mobility infrastructure with Mirapoint's (News - Alert) secure messaging appliances.
The changing dynamics of mobile technology and the invention of improved wireless communications have prompted some of the leading companies to tie up and offer advanced solution for their customers. The latest in this list is the collaboration of Mirapoint and Nokia. Through this partnership, the two companies are planning to provide email and calendar tools to the mobile workforce, and also to offer secure wireless connectivity and reliability.
E-mailing, browsing internet, instant messaging, real time interaction etc have elevated communicating and collaborating with colleagues, customers and business applications to a much greater extent even whilst on the move. Mobility solutions are more widely accepted and adopted in today’s business segment. The collaboration is expected to bring more advantage to the customers by offering a secure mobile solution with Nokia’s Intellisync Mobile Suite.
"Ensuring secure connectivity is a top priority for businesses that increasingly need to connect their mobile workforce to corporate applications and information," said Lior Nir, director of product marketing, Nokia Enterprise Solutions, in a statement.
Jaspal Kohli, CTO of Mirapoint added, "As the workforce becomes more mobile, and mobile devices become smarter, it is logical that customers will want to extend their full enterprise messaging needs to that workforce”.
