VoSKY Launches Web Click-to-Call
By Anshu Shrivastava TMCnet Contributing Editor
VoSKY (News - Alert) has announced the launch of Click-to-Call, a solution that lets Web site visitors instantly talk with a company agent at the click of a button.
By integrating a company’s Web site and phone system through Skype (News - Alert), VoSKY Click-to-Call enables users to take advantage of “Skype’s low rates, easy implementation, and superior voice quality,” according to VoSKY officials.
David Tang, vice president of Global Marketing at VoSKY, noted that many companies understand the value of adding real-time interaction to their website, banner ads, emails, and search engine listings.
However, he pointed out that integrating traditional click-to-call solutions into existing inside sales and customer services systems can seem daunting.
VoSKY Click-to-Call seamlessly integrates with a company’s existing phone system, including their PBX (News - Alert), office phones, and call center solution, he said, adding that using Skype’s VoIP
network, “VoSKY Click-to-Call greatly reduces a company's communication bill and ensures callers enjoy business-class voice quality and service.”
Officials explained that tapping into Skype's community of users, VoSKY Web Click-to-Call allows Skype users to interact with company agents and enables them to learn more about an offer, find answers to questions, and enjoy personal service.
This new solution allows even non-Skype users to take advantage of the service. Officials said that calls can be conducted not only through the user’s computer over Skype, but also via a landline or mobile phone with a callback request. VoSKY Click-to-Call routes the call as a free SkypeIN or low-cost Skype Unlimited call.
VoSKY states that its Click-to-Call is one of several value-added communication applications made possible by VoSKY Exchange, a PBX-to-Skype application gateway.
VoSKY Exchange Skype enables a company's existing phone system to allow businesses to access Internet Telephony (News - Alert) without replacing their existing network infrastructure.
A wholly owned subsidiary of Actiontec Electronics, VoSKY empowers businesses to leverage Skype, one of the largest VoIP communities. The company's enterprise-grade solutions create new opportunities for small-to-medium size businesses (SMBs) and enterprises to reduce communications costs and improve productivity.
