Jangl Teams Up with PerfSpot.com
By Anshu Shrivastava TMCnet Contributing Editor
Jangl (News - Alert), the company connecting online profiles and mobile phones, has announced the debut of its services in one of the fastest-growing social networks, PerfSpot.com, a community designed to enable people to share, create, and socialize.
Jangl’s free service will allow PerfSpot members to connect with each other through text messages, phone calls and voicemail without sharing their real numbers.
Noting that the most popular social networks usually do one thing very well—"they make sharing incredibly easy," Michael Cerda (News - Alert), CEO and co-founder of Jangl said, “Connecting social networks and mobile phones is fundamental to these networks' growth, to the prestigious brands that want to reach those consumers and to consumers themselves, who are continually seeking new, better and safer ways to meet.”
He also said that PerfSpot thrives because it makes sharing simple and fun and, by teaming with Jangl to let their members' text and talk, PerfSpot members have gone mobile-- talking and texting while on the go.
Jangl for PerfSpot will be free like PerfSpot itself, and will be supported by brief advertisements and special offers appended to text messages and audio spots played as calls are connected.
Jangl’s texting, calling and voicemail services, are now available in almost 90 million online profiles, with applications in popular social web communities that include Facebook (News - Alert), Bebo, Match.com, Friendster, Plentyoffish.com, AdultFriendFinder, Tagged and Fubar.
Jangl believes that in allying with PerfSpot, they will widen their “lead as the company bridging consumers’ online lives with their mobile devices.”
