DigiLinea Offers Cut and Paste Local Toll Free Service
By Sandra M. Gustavsen Analyst, Access Intelligence LLC
DigiLinea, a provider of innovative telephony solutions over mobile networks to the US Hispanic and Latin American markets, has announced today the availability of DigiTollFree, a service that allows businesses to receive calls from clients and potential clients worldwide by offering a local toll free number by just cutting and pasting text to their website, e-mail address, or any other Web-based application.
The DigiTollFree service will work to and from any telephone in the world. It can also effectively replace the need to have local toll free or access numbers for sales or operations in each state, region or country in which a business operates.
With DigiTollFree, businesses are provided one easy-to-use service where every person in the world with a telephone (whether fixed line, mobile or VoIP
) can reach their business on a toll free basis to purchase their products or services.
With globalization, a key barrier to sales has been that consumers in local markets do not want to make international calls just to inquire about or purchase products. To get past this barrier, a company had to obtain local toll free or access numbers from every country or region in which it wished to operate.
DigiTollFree allows businesses to set up a worldwide toll free service immediately in real-time via the Web, change the number the company wishes to receive call from on the fly, view reports of incoming calls, recharge their account and create additional DigiTollFree accounts for different departments.
Gregory Keough CEO and Chairman of DigiLinea said in a Monday statement, “DigiLinea has been a leader in the Voice 2.0 space for the US Hispanic and Latin American markets for the past three years. As a profitable company we have a good understanding of the services that create real value for our clients and businesses worldwide.”
“DigiTollFree, by using IP
communications in an innovative and new way, fundamentally does away with the traditional toll free number business which is a costly and complicated process while at the same time providing a cost savings of up to 95% over the current international toll free model,” according to Keough.
“The DigiTollFree service allows any size business to sell their products on a global basis by being able to receive local sales calls from any country in the world. The DigiTollFree service is particularly good news for the small and medium size businesses (SMBs) worldwide as they look to expand sales outside their region or country but do not have the time, resources, or technical in house support to manage toll free or access numbers across the globe,” Keough continued.
“DigiLinea has automated this entire process by leveraging our fixed mobile convergence platform and allowing anyone to instantly set up a worldwide toll free number by simply cutting and pasting text to their website, email, or any other online application.”
The DigiTollFree service is available for a limited time on a free trial basis. To register for a free trial just visit the DigiLinea website, www.DigiLinea.com, and click on the “Try It Now” link to set up your account in real time and experience the future of toll free services.
This new service will certainly bring the world a step further in its quest for complete globalization as users throughout the world will be able to communicate internationally on a toll free service that is as simple as cutting and pasting text. Such an innovation is a long time in coming and will likely find additional applications to expand its reach.
