Verizon Wireless launches XV6800 Handset

Verizon (News - Alert) Wireless, the largest wireless company in United States, has launched XV6800 handset, which is intended primarily for business professionals.
This latest smart phone is expected to be available in all Verizon Wireless Communications Stores beginning Dec. The device can be purchased through Verizon business sales and also online for $449.99 with a new two year customer agreement, following a $50 mail-in rebate.
Enabling access with the latest EvDO (Evolution Data Only), technology, the phone is capable of offering instant access for high-speed wireless data connections that are extremely faster than the other available technology. Customers can enjoy this service through Verizon’s EvDO Network.
The new XV6800 strikes a perfect balance between style and functionality. The phone comes with enhanced messaging and communications capabilities with Windows Mobile 6 Professional, which provides instant access to the Internet, e-mail, calendar and contacts. It also features a 2.0 megapixel camera with flash and video capture, a 2.8" color touch sensitive screen, built in Wi-Fi
802.11b/g capability and a microSD memory card slot with support up to 4GB.
In addition, Verizon's XV6800 offers support for Microsoft (News - Alert) Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents, as well as PDFs. The phone also features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth
v 2.0 and Windows Media Player 10 Mobile.
