EQO Brings Mobile Internet Phone Application to Hong Kong

To make mobile calls to and from Hong Kong inexpensive and simple, EQO Communications has announced the availability of its mobile Internet phone services in Hong Kong.
Hong Kong residents can now save up to 95 percent on international calls and up to 70 percent on text messages.
With this software available for download, customers in Hong Kong can get rid of calling cards, complicated dialing or callback scenarios. They don’t even have to use their PC to make international calls as EQO users can call and text other online EQO users in 31 countries for free. In addition to this, EQO users can use free chat on MSN, Yahoo!, Google (News - Alert) Talk, AIM and ICQ.
Bill Tam, EQO's Chief Executive Officer said in a press release, “As one of the most internationally connected group of people in the world, Hong Kong's mobile phone users can now take advantage of EQO's global communication services. Perfect for keeping in touch with friends, colleagues, and family overseas, EQO fills a growing need among Hong Kong's youth.”
The rates on EQO are competitive and save a lot of money for users in Hong Kong who want to call their friends and family in different countries. For example, calls to 30 countries including Australia, USA, Canada, UK, Singapore and Taiwan will cost as low as $0.18/min HKD and calls from Hong Kong to China will cost $0.18/min. HKD. Also, the company is offering every user a bonus of up to 100 minutes of free calling to celebrate its launch in Hong Kong.
